Alessandra Cianchetta è architetta e urbanista e fondatrice di AWP / AWILDC, uno studio di architettura nomade tra Parigi, Londra e New York. Nata in Italia, Cianchetta ha studiato architettura presso La Sapienza Roma, e ETSA Barcelona. Tra i suoi progetti recenti, Poissy Galore, un museo e osservatorio vicino a Parigi; In-Land living, una reinterpretazione contemporanea del vernacolare Americano e, Global Artscapes, spazi artistici del futuro. Cianchetta ha insegnato architettura alla Cornell University, The Cooper Union, Columbia University, IKA Vienna e al Berlage. www.awp-architecture.com

RebelArchitette, is an Italian not for profit association advocating for equality, respect and justice in architecture.

In 2018 we were flash mobbing in Venice together with VowArchitects thanks to a generous call made by Caroline James and Louise Braverman architects.

When invited by Alessandro Melis to coordinate a section entitled  Decolonising the Built Environment, we decided to share this opportunity with all the Italian female professionals we would love to see in newspapers, books, conferences for their outstanding value.
