Lucia Pierro si laurea in Architettura a Palermo, frequenta un Master a RomaTre e il Ph.D. al PoliMi. Con Marco Scarpinato è co-fondatrice di AutonomeForme.Architettura con cui sviluppa progetti di recupero del patrimonio esistente e di spazi per la collettività con un focus sui luoghi per l’apprendimento. Il team è pubblicato su riviste e ha ottenuto vari premi internazionali tra cui la Gold Medal dell’Holcim Prize e il Green Good Design. Ha collaborato con Grafton Architects a Dublino e con Henning Larsen Architects a Copenaghen. Scrive su Il Giornale dell’Architettura.

Lucia  Pierro graduated in Architecture in Palermo, she has a Master at RomaTre and a Ph.D. at PoliMi. With Marco Scarpinato, she is the co-founder of AutonomeForme.Architettura that develops projects for the reuse of existing buildings and spaces for the community with a focus on learning places. The team’s work is published in magazines and has won various international awards as the gold medal of the Holcim Prize and the Green Good Design.
